An Early Spring Cycle

As the weather fluctuates here in London one can’t help but to dash outside on all pedals once the sun breaks out with its warm golden tingle across the landscape. Yesterday, I decided to take a cycle down the Old River Lea and River Lea canal. It’s been my favourite path since my early teens and the journey never fades in beauty and bringing relaxation. Is Spring finally here? I do hope so!

My journey starts from Springfield Park (my favourite park in London), along Walthamstow Marshes, Middlesex Filter Beds Weir, Hackney Marshes (which is the biggest football playing area in Europe and where I play every Sunday), the Olympic Park stadium village, the Three Mills, Bow, and into Canary Wharf, Docklands. I used the afternoon for a cycle, indulging in a homemade lunch, and to map out ideas for my developing wellbeing manual, which I hope to self-publish at sometime this year. Luckily, I had my old Sony DSC-T10 Cyber-shot pocket camera in my backpack. The photos aren’t that great, but I hope you enjoy!
