The Sky

It had been a while
I had waited without concentration
but you finally opened to me, again
Through Autumn cold winds I realised I still don’t know you at all
My heart caught in the clouds
You carried me beautiful safe and sound
Your earthly banquet hovering above ghosts
The rainmaker and thief of yesterdays
but you finally opened your celestial dome
This time I will wait…
with anticipation.

  1. Hey, BL! 🙂
I love this poem and also the photo of the clouds, but I’m wondering how come I only see the photo on the homepage but not here when I click to read the post?

    1. Hiya C!

Thank you! It is purposely done this way. A visual on the homepage for overal look of the blog… but any prose and poetry does not have the image on its page to allow easy reading… better for one’s imagination, etc… Will check out the link, thanks! 😉

  2. Nice! That is the cool thing about relationships, they are always evolving and I never truly know everything about the person. That’s one of the things that keeps it so interesting!
