Little Treasures of Paris – Photo Blog

It is the October half-term school holiday’s here in the UK, so we decided to visit Paris, France, which only a little way across the water.

We stayed in the famous Montmartre area and visited the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Sacré-Cœur, Notre-Dame de Paris, Le Mur des je t’aime, Jardin du Luxembourg, Place du Tertre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, and of course indulged ourselves at the local bakeries whilst walking around without a plan.

I thought we had a great collection of art, sculptures and artifacts here in the UK, but I was truly astonished at the exhibits you can see in Paris. Below is a selection of photos from our journey.

Photography Perspectives at the Park

We took out the Digital SLR and sports action camera to head to the park to look at different perspectives and focus points. The photos below were taken by my children (12, 10 and 4) for one of our weekly family projects – home education outside of school, each week in addition to coding (using raspberry pi [Raspbian and Kano]) we pick a subject area and do a project together as a family.
